What are Dermal Fillers?
They are used to treat fine lines, loss of volume in a region & existing wrinkles and most commonly used for improving the lips.
Temporary fillers are made of materials which include hyaluronic acid, collagen and calcium hydroxyapatite.
Dermal fillers can be SYNTHETIC or NATURAL.
Both types of filler works by replacing collagen and lost tissue mass to plump skin and increase volume.
Naturally- derived fillers commonly known as ‘Hyaluronic acid’
Sammi-Peony's only uses natural fillers as Hylaronic Acid is already found within the body & has a much smaller risk of causing allergic reactions (Reactions can still occur) If complications do occur early on, it can be reversed, unlike synthetic fillers, making natural filers safer.
How long do Hyaluronic acid Dermal fillers take to work?
Results are immediate and can last 3-18 months, as the filler will eventually break down. To maintain results clients must then have more filler injected once this has occurred.
Sammi-Peony has completed Dermal certificates in;
*Nasolabial folds with Estetica Aesthetics Academy in Harley Street, London.
*Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty with Kanvas Cosmetics Training Academy.
